The Programme Committee invites you to participate at the Conference on Industrial Computed Tomography 2016 and submit your abstracts! Below please find the accepted topics for our iCT Conference 2016 as well as important dates and submission information.

Review & Acceptance

The submitted abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the Programme Commitee.  If a paper is accepted by the Programme Committee, the authors will receive a notification 6 weeks after the abstract submission deadline. There are two different types of accepted contributions:

Talk

  • Talk- The acceptance comprises a talk during the Conference. The duration of a presentation will be limited to 15 minutes + 5 minutes of discussion and to 30 minutes for a key note talk. The presentation slides must be handed in during the break prior to your designated session in the auditorium at the presentation laptop. The use of personal laptops is not allowed.
  • Paper - Upon acceptance, the authors has to deliver a full paper. See the guidelines for details.
 

Poster with Short Talk

  • Short Talk - Those accepted for a poster presentation may hold a short talk of 5 minutes prior to the poster presentation.
  • Poster - The acceptance comprises a poster presentation during the poster session. Take your printed poster to the conference (maximal size A0 portrait). An electronic submission is not necessary.
  • Paper - Upon acceptance, the authors has to deliver a a full paper. See the guidelines for details.

Call for Poster without Talk

You may also submit a poster for display during the Conference without talk and publication in the conference proceedings. Please send title and a short outline of your Poster to michael.reiter@fh-wels.at. Upon acceptance, it will be displayed in the foyer or the auditorium. Take your printed poster to the conference. An electronic submission is not necessary.  The submission deadline can be found under Important Dates.

Extended Abstract for Review

- Use the following template: abstract-author-title.docx / abstract-author-title.doc
- The paper size is A4
- The extended abstract should contain a maximum of 2 pages and will be provided in a book of abstracts during the conference to the participants.
- The document must be uploaded as docx or doc file.
- Selected authors will be notified by the program commitee and may choose between the iCT and the CSNDTE paper track:
  • The full paper has to be written in accordance with the iCT paper guidelines. Upload the paper at https://www.conftool.net/ict2016/. It will be published in the digital iCT conference proceedings on NDT.net
  • The full paper has to be written in accordance with the guidelines of Case Studies in Nondestructive Testing and Evaluation (CSNDTE) and submitted only at their platform. The CSNDTE reviewer will review the full final paper, which then would be part of a Special Issue. The open access publishing fee will be payed by the organizing conference.

- For the abstract submission you must name the person who will be presenting the contribution at the conference. This name will be included in the Conference Programme Folder. Changes can only be considered on the conference website.

Final Paper

Poster

- Maximal size A0 portrait
- Take your poster to the conference. No prior submission necessary.

Presentation Slides

- Slides must be handed in the break prior to your designated session at the presentation laptop. The use of your personal laptop is not allowed.
- Microsoft Office 2010 is installed on the presentation laptop.
- Your presentation may include videos and animations.
- All main/important Codecs and Players are supported. 
- The beamer resolution is 1024 x 768 pixel.

  Please note that the abstract/paper submission or acceptance notification does not go hand in hand with the registration for participation to the conference!
